Elena Rybakina has yet to lose a set in 2024
Elena Rybakina 2024’s run continues. After the Kazakh won the WTA Tour 500 event in Brisbane with a convincing final win against Aryna Sabalenka, the 2022 Wimbledon winner immediately followed up in Adelaide. After beating Cristina Bucsa 6:3 and 7:5, Rybakina is in the quarterfinals. And is waiting there for the winner of the game between Ekaterina Alexandrova and Veronika Kudermetova.

Rybakina is the only player from the favorite quartet for the Australian Open who is playing another tournament this week. Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka and Coco Gauff are already preparing for the first major of the year in Melbourne.
Siegemund in the quarterfinals
Number two in the tournament is also through: Jessica Pegula had some problems with her compatriot Bernarda Pera, at least at the beginning, but ultimately won 4:6, 6:2 and 6:3. Pegula will play against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova tomorrow for a place in the semi-finals.
The same applies to Laura Siegemund after her success against Ana Bogdan. Siegemund will face either Anna Kalinskaya or Daria Kasatkina.
