FC Twente vs. PSV Match in Jeopardy as Snowstorm Looms

Next Wednesday, FC Twente will visit PSV in the battle for the KNVB Cup. The match has already been moved once due to heavy rain, but the Tukkers have to take into account another move. Meteorologist Michael van der Poel predicts a real snow disturbance from next Wednesday.

“If this calculation is correct, the Netherlands will be completely shut down next week,” the meteorologist wrote on Twitter. The calculation was made by the weather system of the European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), which is also one of the most powerful computers in the world.

There will be quite a bit of snow on Wednesday, January 17. If the models are correct, this will pose a problem for the FC Twente match. The south of the country, where the match will take place, has a lot less snowfall.
