Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Manchester United has found an interest in striker Anthony Martial. The Fenerbahce club is willing to accommodate the French player.
The Red Devils have tried several times to sell Martial in the transfer market. However, Manchester United’s efforts failed because fans could not afford the player’s high salary. Plus Martial’s performance on the field is also inadequate.
MU’s wait is finally over with Fenerbahce interested in recruiting the 28 year old striker. Sky Sports reported that the Turkish club is ready to make an offer even though the nominal value is not too high.
The reason is, Anthony Martial’s contract at Old Trafford will expire in June 2024. Although, MU has the option to increase the duration of the work contract by a year, which is only taken so that they don’t lose Martial for free next summer.
In this situation, Fenerbahce is confident that they will receive the green light. Moreover, their relationship with MU is relatively good because they often do business. Fenerbahce previously recruited Brazilian midfielder Fred last summer. Instead, MU brought Altay Bayindir to Old Trafford.
