It’s official: Charles Leclerc will continue to compete for the Ferrari. This was communicated in a note by the Scuderia di Maranello, which announced the renewal of the agreement with the Monegasque driver, whose contract expired at the end of 2024. This is a multi-year agreement. This is how the 26-year-old prepares for his sixth season with Ferrari.
Joined the Ferrari Driver Academy In the 2016, after dominating the Formula 2 championship in 2017, the Monegasque spent a year of apprenticeship in Grand Prix racing at Sauber and joined the Scuderia in 2019. In that season he achieved his first successes, becoming the youngest driver in the history of the team to achieve a victory when it won on the Spa-Francorchamps track, a success repeated a week later in Monza in front of ecstatic fans.
In the 2022 he triumphed in further three Grand Prix, achieving second place in the Drivers’ classification.
