Luis Figo nods to the famous 2002 Classic in “Ask for Almost, Almost for Everything”, the new Uber Eats campaign. In the spot, the former footballer orders a suckling pig through the app, winking at the event that took place at the Camp Nou more than 20 years ago. Celebrities also appear in the video, such as the model, businesswoman and partner of Cristiano Ronaldo, Georgina Rodríguez, who orders Iberian ham on the app along with her sister Ivana Rodríguez.
The other well-known faces that star in the video are Brays Efe, Rosario Flores and Laura Escanes, in whose scene she requests a tattoo removal service to erase memories of the past. In this way, Uber Eats pays tribute to iconic news and moments from Spain, immersing itself in comic chaos to demonstrate that in its app it is possible to order almost anything.
“The objective of this campaign is to demonstrate that Uber Eats is more than a food delivery app. It is also a platform where you can order products from supermarkets, pharmacies, convenience stores, florists, markets, and almost, almost anything you need every day,” says Ricardo Pabón, Head of Marketing at Uber Eats.
“Uber Eats offers users instant access to local restaurants and businesses. We help people order food or make purchases, and receive it reliably and quickly wherever they want, with the touch of a button and in a shorter average delivery time to 30 minutes. Uber Eats has more than 890,000 partner restaurants in more than 11,000 cities on 6 continents,” highlights the company.
