Originally from Magny-Danigon, the one who trained at Cercle Sportif Luron is progressing at great speed but is careful to keep her feet on the ground. Thoughtful and composed, the young woman – who now competes in juniors – joined the France center in Strasbourg last September, which allows her to best combine her studies and sport (15 hours of training per week). Now licensed at AJ Besançon-Dijon 21-25, she can also count on the support of her family – her father is president of the Cercle Sportif Luron, her mother is a secretary and her two brothers are licensed there.

“I would like to make a podium at the French junior championships in March and take my revenge on the last “France” where I finished 5th. Then, we will think about international competitions,”
indicates Ielena, whose French model is Amandine Buchard, Olympic vice-champion in -52 kg.
And added: “Depending on my results, I would like to join INSEP but before that, you must continue to work and not forget your studies. I am in my final year and I will take the Baccalaureate over two years thanks to my course. In the future, I would like to become a sports psychologist. »
Olympic Games ? “I’m still young and the competition is tough. But of course it’s a competition that makes you dream. This summer, I will be a simple supporter of French judokas. I hope they will win as many medals as possible. In any case, there are ways to make many podiums. »
