Italian Judo Masters Take on Japan and France in 2024

It’s a challenging start to 2024 Master Italians who will fight in both Japan and France over the upcoming weekend. On January 20th and 21st in the Kodokan a Tokyo Monica Stragliotto, Moreno Carnevale, Pasquale Iacomino, Mihai Ciocan, Ermanno Agostini, Alessio Carnevale will compete in the “2024 Japan Veterans International Judo Championships”, while Lille on the occasion of the Eurometropole Masters 2024, Giulia Meinardi, Carlo Alberto Alessi, Fabrizio Ceruti, Vincenzo Patanè, Gillo Innocenti, Ivan D’Auria, Fernando Marverti, Giampaolo Polenta, Stefano Pressello, Andrea Ricaldone, Arturo Esposito, Armando Vettori, Antonino Vitanza will be involved , Sergio Valli and Giovanni Lucantoni.

In the 2024 program of the master class, the Gran Prix Italia stages are scheduled for March 3rd in Besana Brianza (Lombardy), May 5th in Bologna (Emilia-Romagna) and September 21st in Millesimo (Liguria), then the European Championships from the 6th on 9 June in Sarajevo (BIH), the Italian Championships on 7 July in Ostia. Furthermore, from 2024 the EJU has established the new Veteran European Cup events, 6 official races included in the EJU calendar assigned to Latvia, Hungary, Poland, Georgia, Germany and Croatia.
