It’s over for Tunisia: the Eagles of Carthage are leaving this CAN 2024 as they went through it, without any reaction and in anonymity.
When Lions Save Elephants: Morocco beat Zambia (1-0) on Wednesday evening. While securing first place in their group, the Atlas Lions enabled the qualification of Côte d’Ivoire, selected among the best thirds in the competition.
The Leopards roar with happiness: Tanzania’s decisive match against DR Congo will not go down in history (0-0), but the result turned in favor of the Leopards. The Congolese qualified for the round of 16 of CAN 2024 and finished second in group F.

Ivory Coast saved on the edge : Ivory Coast was saved from a humiliating elimination at home in the first round. Nothing to brag about, the host country moves to 16th and last place among the qualifiers, thanks to Morocco’s victory against Zambia. But the Ivorians are celebrating the Moroccan victory this evening as if it were their own.
Belmadi and Gasset take the door: bad day for the selectors. The football federation of Côte d’Ivoire and that of Algeria have announced that they are dismissing their coach from office. Jean-Louis Gasset and Djamel Belmadi are leaving the CAN through the back door.
Walid Regragui suspended: lhe Morocco coach was suspended for four matches, two of which were suspended, by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) after his altercation with Congolese Chancel Mbemba on Sunday at the end of the match between the two teams. The Moroccan Federation announced that it was appealing.
