The Mittersill EJU OTC Training Camp 2024 is an international judo training camp organized by the European Judo Union (EJU) and the International Judo Federation (IJF) from January 8 to 16, 2024 in Mittersill, Austria. This year, a judoka from the Malagasy diaspora is taking part, in this case Chan Ling Janeiro (-66kg men). He is one of 837 judokas from 58 countries and 4 continents.
The camp offers judokas the opportunity to train with high-level partners and prepare for upcoming competitions. The camp also includes seminars for coaches and referees.
At 37, the Malagasy judoka continues his training at the high level. With the diaspora, he still gets on the tatami in Masters tournaments and others. His last fight on the international circuit dates back to February 25, 2023, during the European Open in Warsaw, 20 years after his first international tournament in 2013 at the Grand Slam in Paris.
