The young Mathieu Dury, a graduate of the Saint-Marcel Judo Club, has reached a milestone: he is now a black belt!

Mathieu started Judo at the age of 6 on the Saint Germain du Plain section.
Reserved but dynamic, he wants to succeed in everything he does. He also became more seasoned by competing from a very young age. He will notably participate in the French Cadet 2nd division championship with a good performance. The young judoka also obtains several podiums at the departmental and regional level.
At just 18 years old, Mathieu was awarded his black belt by Martine GUERY and Mathieu GOUTH, his teachers at JCSM. In front of his club mates but also in front of his family and friends, who came for the occasion, Mathieu was able to demonstrate his practice of Judo.
This very important moment in the life of a judoka will undoubtedly remain engraved in his memory.
Mathieu plans to continue his studies in BTS “maintenance of industrial systems” at the Lycée Julien de Balleure. He plans to join the police after this training.
Gabriel GUERY, president of the JCSM, warmly congratulates the young man on this new grade and emphasizes: “With the continuation of regular practice, obtaining a higher grade can quickly arrive.”
