Nuggets Hand Celtics First Home Defeat, Booker Shines in Suns Victory

The Denver Nuggets inflicted their first home defeat of the season on the Boston Celtics in the NBA on Friday (local time).

In the guests’ 102:100 victory, Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic shined with 35 and 34 points respectively. Boston had won 20 home games en suite this season and even 27 across all seasons.

Jayson Tatum could have taken the Celtics into overtime three seconds before the siren, but his throw missed the target.

Outstanding booker in a clear Suns victory

Devin Booker scored 52 points in his Phoenix Suns’ 123:109 away win over the New Orleans Pelicans. This should suit Booker, as he scored 58 points in a duel between the two teams last season.

Things are a lot closer in Miami, where the Heat lost to the Atlanta Hawks 108:109. Dejounte Murray scored 22 points and scored the winning basket two seconds before the end.

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a more significant defeat at home against the Brooklyn Nets. The team around superstar LeBron James, who contributed 24 points, lost 112:130. The Lakers’ best scorer is Anthony Davis with 26 points, while the Nets’ Cam Thomas excels with 33 points.
