OLBIA. The first competitions of the year faced by the Olbia Judo Sports Center at the Ca-Ju Alpe Adria Grand Prix got off to a good start. At the judo competitions, which took place in Lignano, the twins Francesco e Federico Lai they won the silver and bronze medals respectively in the 46 kg category.
The Grand Prix saw the participation of over a thousand athletes from 6 countries and 263 clubs. From the Olbia team, directed by the maestro Efisio Melethey also competed Mirko Dettori (46 kg), Matteo Eretta (55 kg), Antonio Piu (60 kg) and Fabio Farci (66kg). Despite the excellent performances, the four young athletes, in their first competition in the cadet class, did not manage to pass the round.
Meanwhile, the Olbia Sports Center, which trains at the Geovillage sports hall, is already at work preparing for the next races.
