Orlando – Despite a mixed performance from world champion Franz Wagner, the Orlando Magic won their home game in the NBA against the Phoenix Suns around superstar Kevin Durant.
In the 113:98 win, Wagner only hit three of his eleven shots and ended up with eleven points, eight rebounds and seven assists. His older brother Moritz Wagner had a good 16 points and 12 rebounds. For the Suns, Durant only scored 15 points, Devin Booker’s outstanding 44 points were not enough for the guests.
Dennis Schröder suffered a bitter defeat with the Toronto Raptors against the Atlanta Hawks, who only scored the decisive basket with 1.3 seconds left to make it 126:125. Saddiq Bay converted a rebound from Trae Young. Bay had 26 points, Young was the most successful thrower of the game with 30 points. Schröder played from the start, but sat on the bench for the final two minutes and finished with 14 points, 6 assists and 2 rebounds for the Raptors.
