Thanks to a very inspired performance from quarterback CJ Stroud, the Houston Texans qualified for the second round of the NFL playoffs on Saturday night.
The Texan team largely won with a score of 45 to 14 against the Cleveland Browns.

Stroud was relentless, especially in the first half, amassing 236 yards through the air and three touchdown passes. He also became the first rookie in NFL history to achieve such a feat during the first 30 minutes of a playoff game.
Even if his opposite Joe Flacco usually has excellent performances during tough matches, that was not the case on Saturday. He posted 307 passing yards, in addition to having two interceptions.
The start of the match was particularly lively, and it was even the Browns who scored the first major of the match thanks to Kareem Hunt. The latter repeated at the start of the second quarter to give his team a 14-10 advantage. However, the Texans later woke up by reaching their opponents’ end zone five times without reply.
Brevin Jordan, Dalton Schultz, Steven Nelson, Christian Harris and Devin Singletary scored touchdowns for the local favorites.
