Siheung City Corporation announced on the 11th that it was selected as the best organization in the ‘2023 Information Disclosure Comprehensive Evaluation’ hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and received the ‘Minister of the Interior and Safety Award’.
The Ministry of Public Administration and Security awarded information disclosure merit to 9 organizations (groups) and 10 individuals who received the highest grade in the ‘2023 Information Disclosure Comprehensive Evaluation’ targeting 551 central and local administrative agencies and public institutions (comprehensive evaluation of information disclosure). Awarded a commendation.
In particular, the Corporation received a perfect score in all evaluation items, receiving the highest level of evaluation, and was awarded the Minister of Public Administration and Security Award in recognition of its efforts to achieve the best organization rating in the comprehensive evaluation of information disclosure for five consecutive years.
In addition to efforts to disclose information in advance, the Corporation is doing its best to guarantee the public’s right to know through periodic maintenance of the information list.

◆ Expanding badminton youth usage hours for winter vacation

Siheung National Sports Center, operated by Siheung City Corporation, announced on the 11th that it will expand badminton hours for teenagers during the winter vacation.
The Corporation has expanded badminton usage hours in the hope that teenagers on winter vacation can enjoy healthy leisure activities.
The operating period is from January 10th to February 29th, from 9:00 to 10:00 on Mondays, and from 13:30 to 14:30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Through this expanded operation, we will provide customized services to youth, and we plan to continue to provide quality services by listening to and reflecting the diverse opinions of citizens.
President Jeong Dong-seon said, “We are providing various services such as special vacation lectures and expanded operations to help teenagers on winter break have a healthy and enjoyable vacation.
