Tyler Bass lived every kicker’s nightmare Sunday night when he missed a field goal that led to the defeat and elimination of the Buffalo Bills.
With less than two minutes left in the fourth quarter and trailing 27-24 in the score, the 26-year-old had the chance to tie the game against the Kansas City Chiefs. However, he missed his 44-yard attempt. This allowed their rivals to recover the ball, use up all the remaining time and secure their ticket to the final of the American NFL Association.

“Ultimately, we can put the defeat on my back,” Bass said during the press conferences following the second-round playoff duel. I need to do better when it comes to my accuracy.”
It was the third time in four years that the Bills lost a walk-off against the Chiefs.
