The Australian Open is coming to an end. The hot first Grand Slam of the year already has the semifinals defined, with Novak Djokovic (1st) against Jannik Sinner (4th) on the one hand, and with Daniil Medvedev (3rd) facing Alexander Zverev (6th) on the other.
The Russian tennis player comes from defeating the Pole Hubert Hurkacz (9th) in the quarterfinals by 7-6 (4), 2-6, 6-3, 5-7 and 6-4. After that, he will seek to get into a new final of the Australian competition, which would be the third of his career. The world number 3 fell in the 2021 and 2022 editions, against Djokovic and Nadal respectively.
