Washington Wizards Expected to Negotiate Renewal with Point Guard Tyus Jones Next Summer: Report

The Washington Wizards management is expected to negotiate a possible renewal next summer with point guard Tyus Jones, reported journalist Michael Scotto of the outlet. HoopsHype.com.

In fact, rumors recently pointed to his foreseeable departure with his teammate Kyle Kuzma in which they would have requested at least a future first round of the Draft among the first 20 positions.

Jones, who arrived from the Memphis Grizzlies, is on the last of his contract worth $14 million. Since landing in the capital of the USA, he has been averaging 12.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game.

The Wizards, with a clear negative trend, plan to release salaries before February 8, and in addition to offering the names of Kuzma, Jones himself or Shamet, they would also be including their salary exceptions.
