Once again an opportunity to stand out in sport for the Agro Nocerino Sarnese area, which will host the 18 meter Regional Indoor Archery Championship promoted by FITARCO in Nocera Inferiore. At the “Palacoscioni” Sports Hall in Nocera Inferiore the event, organized by the ASD “Arcieri di Rocca San Quirico 1983”, which will select the most talented athletes to continue along the path up to the National qualifiers.
The Archers of Rocca San Quirico are known on the regional sports scene thanks also to the promotion of the “Pinocchio Trophy”, a competition circuit dedicated to younger athletes, and locally for the start of the “A Scuola con l’Arco” project, which involved adults and children, parents and children, in the discipline of archery with enormous success.
The Regional Championship will take place on Saturday and Sunday 10 and 11 February 2024 in two shifts (morning and afternoon) starting from 9 am for the first and from 2 pm for the second. Athletes from clubs across Campania will be guests of the Palacoscioni in Nocera Inferiore. The archers will compete over a fixed distance of 18 meters with three divisions: Bare Bow, Olympic Bow and Compound Bow. All classes of athletes are admitted, from Juniors to Seniors.
The organization of the ASD Arcieri of Rocca San Quirico is among the first to bring digital innovation to the sports sector, adopting new IT systems on tablet support for counting points.
An opportunity to promote a sport that is mostly unknown in Southern Italy, which is increasingly growing and engaging because it is suitable for everyone without real age limits.
Entrance to the public to watch the competition is free.
