This means that more than 80 kilometers of slopes and double the number of ski lifts will be available with a single card. The largest construction project in the history of the Komperdell GmbH ski lifts in the family ski area of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis up is the new construction of the 10-seater EUB Komperdellbahn gondola lift from Doppelmayr. The new plant, whose work was already scheduled to begin in 2021 and had to be postponed due to Covid, will in the future have a transport capacity of 3,500 people per hour. The valley station of the new ski lift will host a large ski depot with over 5,000 parking spaces, a ski rental shop and a depot for the cable car. At the mountain station, the ski school building will be completely relocated and direct access to the Schneealm hut for children will be created. Another novelty is the construction of an intermediate station.

4. Schlick 2000, Stubai: the new Galtbergbahn cable car

The Schlick 2000 ski area in the Stubai Valley replaces the Galtalm gondola lift from 1961 with a modern and comfortable 10-seater gondola lift from Leitner, the first 10-seater gondola lift in the Stubai Valley. The heart of the project includes the extension of the cable car from the valley station slightly below the Fronebenalm to the mountain station above the Galtalm at 1,760 meters above sea level.

The new Galtbergbahn will lead to a significant improvement in quality and comfort and will make things easier, especially for ski schools and beginners.
