ROVIGO – On the first day of the “Winter League Veneto Est – Itas Mutua Trophy”, the Adriatic LNG Baseball Softball Club Rovigo achieved a brilliant success in Group A dedicated to the Under 12 category. The day of competition began with an exciting match between Romano d’Ezzelino and Conegliano, which ended with a narrow 3-2 victory in favor of Romano d’Ezzelino. Subsequently it was the turn of the debut of the home team, the Adriatic LNG Baseball Softball Club Rovigo 1, which triumphed in the derby against Padova with a score of 4-1. Subsequently, the young rossoblù confirmed their positive form by also overcoming Conegliano with a convincing 8-3. The day ended with the match between Rovigo 1 and Romano d’Ezzelino, where the rossoblù achieved a clear 8-1 victory.
Con two victories achieved, the Under 12 team of the Adriatic LNG Baseball Softball Club Rovigo placed themselves at the top of the Group A standings with 4 points. Conegliano and Romano d’Ezzelino follow with 2 points, while Padua closes the group.
The competition continues on Sunday 11 February, when the teams included in Group B will take the field, again in the gym in via Mozart in Rovigo.
