At the “Scatolone” gym in Reggio Calabria The Archers Club Lido they confirmed themselves at the top of regional sports by winning important class and overall titles. The sporting scenario of the event held in Reggio Calabria on 3 and 4 February 2024 was that of the Palascatolone, in which, in the two sporting days, the regional archers competed, in what is the queen competition of the indoor specialty in shooting the regional arc.
The Catanzaro club, the Arcieri Club Lido led in the away match in Reggio Calabria by Mister Poerio Pierà Edoardo, leave their mark in the final rankings. The class and overall titles are numerous, confirming the sporting quality of the Catanzaro native in events of a certain weight and importance. The premier class, the men’s Olympic one, is all yellow-red like the colors of the Arcieri Club Lido uniform: 4 titles out of 4 won, both in class and overall.
Francesco Poerio Pierà junior registry class, participates in the upper class, the senior one, with a good final score of 587 points, supported by excellent Gillo Gold Medal equipment, elivanes, sport bow; he takes home the Class title in the qualifying phase and with his teammates Serafino Valentino and Poerio Pierà Edoardo. Thus last year’s success was repeated by winning the team class title. In the late afternoon, individual and team clashes take place and the scoreboard at the end of the race is repeated: Francesco Poerio Pierà Overall Olympic Champion and the team, after an exhilarating shot-off, takes home the overall title with Francesco and Edoardo Poerio Pierà and Valentino Serafino .
On Saturday in the compound and bare bow there were just as many successes: Anastasia Poerio Pierà, student class, participates as a junior and wins the Individual gold, repeating herself in the direct clashes for the absolute and taking home the compound division title. Other individual class titles go to Poerio Pierà Edoardo in the master naked bow followed by the gold of Fabio Ludovica in the student class and Falcone Samantha in the girls class. Overall silver for Poerio Pierà Edoardo in the naked bow and bronze for Fabio Ludovica in the Compound.

Satisfaction is expressed by the company management led by President Messina and by the Youth Sector Manager Demasi Pasquale, who say they are extremely grateful to the boys for the results achieved. The titles won, confirming those already won last year, are proof of the actual quality and work carried out in the company.
