Asian Tour Oosthuizen and Ortiz take the lead

This Saturday the third round of the International Series Oman was held in Muscat. Louis Oosthuizen and Carlos Ortiz have taken matters into their own hands but are closely followed at the top of the rankings.

Like his little brother Alvaro, co-leader of the Mexico Open on the PGA Tour, Carlos Ortiz also stands out, for his part, on the Asian circuit. The Mexican returned a card of 68 (four birdies) this Saturday without conceding the slightest bogey, to climb to the top of the leaderboard (-12 total), where he is accompanied by the South African Louis Oosthuizen. The latter signed a score of 67 (five birdies), also without making the slightest mistake.

However, the two men only have a small lead over five players who share third place on the podium (-11 total). In this group we find Peter Uihlein, amateur Sampson Zheng, Travis Smyth, Justin Quiban and Prom Meesawat. The Thai recorded a score of 65 (eight birdies, one bogey), the best of the day, to get back into the race.
