Thousands of Atletico Madrid fans have invaded Piazza del Duomo in Milan, awaiting their team’s match which will face Simone Inzaghi’s Inter in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 at the San Siro stadium this evening at 9pm. Between chants and a waving of flags, the Spaniards swarmed through the streets of the center peacefully and without causing any problems. In the evening they headed towards the stadium, escorted by a strong police cordon.
