Baja California Judoka Kassandra Giselle Espinoza Ramos to Compete in International Championship

TIJUANA, BAJA CALIFORNIA – The Baja Californian judoka Kassandra Giselle Espinoza Ramos will attend the Superior Youth International Championship that will be held in Mérida, Yucatán during the first days of February of this year.

With twelve years practicing this sport, where she has had great achievements, two-time Pan American champion, multiple medalist of the defunct National Olympics, now known as CONADE Nationals, she remains among the three best in Mexico in her category.

Kassandra, is currently the national champion at the 2023 Universiade, in the same event she won the team silver medal, she is at the top of her preparation to go to this international event for the first time.

In the -48 kilo division, the youth athlete said that her purpose is to be able to give maximum performance in the event that will be held on the other peninsula of the country, “after this we have already seen attending the Tomoyoshi Yamaguchi National Championship where the Last year I was champion, so I will go to endorse the title, in my category.”

She closed 2023 competing in the “Daniel F. Hernández” event where she placed second, which keeps her in a good position within the national ranking.
