Club Brugge regrets the death of its former player Ulrik le Fèvre, at the age of 77

The former Danish international Ulrik Le Fevre died at the age of 77. Club Brugge, where he played for five years in the 1970s, made the announcement on Saturday, a week after the death of another former Blue and Black Danish, Jan Sorensen.

Ulrich Le Fèvre played for Bruges between 1972 and 1977. He won three league titles there (1973, 1976 and 1977), a Belgian Cup (1977), and reached the UEFA Cup final in 1976. Liverpool there had beaten Bruges 4-3 in a two-legged match.

The Dane played a total of 184 matches in the blue and black jacket. He scored 41 goals for FCB. Le Fèvre began his career in his country at Vejle, where he retired in 1978. He spent time with Mönchengladbach in Germany between 1969 and 1972, conquering the championship twice. He also compiled 37 caps and 7 goals for his national team.
