Basketball U14 Girls Regional Championship, hosted by Denizli, started with a ceremony. At the opening ceremony held at the Governor Recep Yazıcıoğlu Sports Hall, the athletes observed a moment of silence in memory of our citizens who lost their lives in the disaster on the 1st anniversary of the February 6 Earthquakes. The banner opened by the athletes read, “Our hearts beat in the earthquake zone.” The first day of the championship, in which 7 teams competed, was full of competition. The winning teams at the end of the matches to be played between 06-08 February will be eligible to advance to the semi-finals.
