No more possible doubt: the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has never been so close to the NBA. For the first time this year, the body will bring together its executive committee for the next “NBA All-Star 2024 Weekend”. It is scheduled for this weekend in Indianapolis. The FIBA Executive Committee meeting will be held on Sunday February 18 in the presence of the commissioner of the North American league, Adam Silver. Anything but coincidence, the NBA will use for the first time in Indianapolis, during the All Star Game weekend, the ABS GlassFloor flooring unveiled last year by FIBA during the Under-19 Women’s World Cup. This LED field will be used for several weekend events. The NBA has been represented on the FIBA executive committee for several years by its deputy commissioner, Mark Tatum.
