At the weekend, on February 25, the last round of the regular championship in Liepāja amateur indoor football was held. At the end of the games, the winners of the regular championship have been determined, as well as the pairs of the playoffs, informed the organizers of the city’s amateur football championship.
“SLV Pluss” and “Liepaja Beach cafe” were the first to enter the field. Although the representatives of “SLV Pluss” were the first to take the lead, they still scored six unanswered goals, resulting in a 6-1 defeat.
Immediately after the first match, “Medze/BL Serviss” and “FK Dienvikkurzeme” took over the LOC hall. A 4-4 draw was recorded in an exciting match, but the young representative of the hunters Ralfs Bethers should be noted, who stood out during the game with three effective shots.
An interesting match also unfolded between “Football Veterans” and “Rescuers”. The final score of the game was 3 – 2 in favor of the first team.
The last match in the championship was played by “FK Blaķene”, which met “FK Nīca/OtankiMill”. The boys from Blaķene also experienced an unconditional loss in this game, but they already started to learn tactical and technical skills for next year’s championship.
After the matches, “FK Nīca/OtankiMill” and last season’s champions “Priekule/Ruģi” received a ticket to the semi-finals. The winner of the second quarter-final pair in the match between “FTS Baltic” and “FK Dienvikkurzeme” will face Priekulnieki, but the representatives of Nice must wait for the outcome of the battle between the “TEM” and “Medze/BL Serviss” units.
“FK Zvejnieks” and “Liepaja beach cafe” secured the B League semi-final place in the regular championship. “FK Zvejnieks” will find out its opponent after the match between “Futbola veterani” and “Priekules SC”, and “Liepaja Beach Cafe” will know the winner of the match between “Llābēji” and “SLV Pluss”.
