Duo of Indonesian National Team players Shayne Pattynama and Sandy Walsh will face each other in the highest caste of the Belgian League, Sunday (4/2).
Shayne Pattynama, who is currently playing for AS Eupen, will face Sandy Walsh, who is one of the pillars of KV Mechelen at Kehrwegstadion.
The two Indonesian players have the opportunity to tackle each other on the field as opponents. Previously, Shayne and Sandy had just worked together to defend the Indonesian national team in the 2023 Asian Cup.
However, it is not certain that Eupen will play Shayne Pattynama because he only officially joined as a player on Friday (1/2) local time.
The 25 year old full-back agreed to sign a 2.5 year contract at the club which plays in Belgium’s highest caste.
If his physical condition allows, then Shayne has the opportunity to meet Sandy Walsh when Eupen hosts Mechelen in the Belgian League.
Sandy Walsh has been one of Mechelen’s pillars in the last few seasons. This season Shandy has played in most of Mechelen’s matches.
Sandy Walsh is recorded as having made 20 appearances in total with Mechelen. The 28 year old defender has started 17 times in a total of 23 matches played by Mechelen.
If there are no obstacles, Shayne and Sandy will face each other in the Belgian League continuation between Eupen vs Menchelen at the Kehrwegstadion Stadium, Sunday (4/2).
Mechelen is currently in ninth place in the Belgian League standings with 29 points. Meanwhile, Eupen sits in 13th position and is struggling to escape relegation.
