New competitive event for the Karate Judo Club of
Sciacca, this time with the judo sector. The association, led by maestro Pippo Piazza, will participate in the Italian Judo Championship for the Cadet category. The initiative, also by Fijlkam, will be held on 24 and 25 February in Policoro, in the province of Matera. The Sacco club will bring the athlete Fabio La Bella to the stage in the category up to 55 kilograms. La Bella will be accompanied by coach Alberto Catanzaro.
The Saccense judoka will therefore have the burden of representing not only the local association, but also the province of Agrigento and Sicily. As will be remembered, the qualification for the national phase came for La Bella after having passed the regional one which took place two weeks ago in Montelepre, an event in which the athlete had achieved second place which had earned him, in fact, the pass for the Policoro tournament.
An important occasion for the Karate Judo Club of Sciacca with La Bella who in recent days has refined her athletic and technical preparation together with coach Alberto Catanzaro.
