The Margarita Braves announced that they will return to Margarita Island for the 2024-25 season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) after several seasons outside the island region.
The news was announced by the general manager of the island team, Yves Hernández during an interview shared through the club’s social networks in which he was focused on rekindling the affection of his fans.
In his statements he highlighted that the main objective will be to have the playing field completely prepared for the next winter ball season.
“We are going to do everything possible to ensure that the team returns to its natural headquarters, which is Margarita Island,” said the general manager of the sports organization.
“Get the land in good condition and mulch it and then try to fix the electricity towers. If we cannot solve the problem of the electricity towers, then we will play during the day,” he added..

Let us remember that the team has not been able to play on Margarita Island since the 2020-21 LVBP season due to various problems with the terrain and the lighting, which is why they have shared stadiums with Magallanes and Tiburones.
The Nueva Esparta Stadium became one of the best in the country at the time and even hosted the Caribbean Series on one occasion.
