“I wanted to apologize on behalf of myself and the team to the club and to all the fans for the terrible performance” says Fabio Arena, who arrived in Modica in the summer and who, together with the club top management, set up the Modica squad, with the clear intention of be among the protagonists of the Eccellenza championship.
“The initial objective – explains Arena – was to be among the teams at the top or at least to remain as close as possible to the top positions. This did not happen. I take responsibility for this and, in thanking the fans and above all the club for the great trust they have had in me, I announce my resignation from my position.”
