Last Saturday, February 10, the First Phase of the Navarra Sports Games took place in the Alevín category, judokas between 11 and 12 years old, at the Trinquete Mendillorri Sports Center in Pamplona, ​​which hosted more than 150 participants.

The Ribera Navarra athletes won 7 metals, whose first place went to Álex Ramírez, weighing -42 kilos, winning the final over his clubmate Jeyzan Orta, who had to settle for silver. The two -38 kilo representatives reached the final unstoppable. Dasha Mulyk gave a beautiful Ippon (highest Seoi-nage score) to her partner Paula Lasanta, so the gold and silver were also shared.

In the male category of less than 38 kilos, 3 members of Ribera Navarra also coincided. Aitor Escribano and Izan Arrondo faced each other in the semifinal, the latter managing to sneak into the final by ippon, and later obtain silver. Aitor stayed in third place in the play-off, and his clubmate Héctor Lapeña was left without the first positions, since he lost in the first round and did not have the option of a play-off.

The third, but no less important, went to Yoel Martínez, -47 kilos, and Alonso Aliaga, +52 kilos, who after doing four fights each, being one of the largest categories, managed to stay in that position. .

The fifth places went to Dani Martínez, Luna Espinoza, Leo Cardozo, Angela Espin and Anahi Miguel Cargua who, after competing for third place, could not reach the points.

The rest of the Shogun judokas who participated, but were not so lucky, were Eneko Plaza, Iker Cando, Iker Acuña, Paco Ochoa, Unai Sánchez and David Cueva.
