Last Saturday, training at the Wermelskirchen Judo Club (JCWK) was suspended – and for a good reason: young and old were active in the friendly tournament for beginners up to the age of twelve. The brave Wermelskirchen kids either went to the mat themselves or helped with list management and waffle sales. Parents and coaches supported wherever needed. There were also students from the University of Wuppertal who were able to get a taste of practical experience as part of a methodology course.
