Tania Fasciani Continues Dominance in Archery: Wins Silver at Italian FIARC 3D Indoor Championship

The drink Tania Fasciani still at the top in archery. From 8 to 11 December the Italian FIARC 3D Indoor Championship took place in San Marino with 400 archers from all over the peninsula. The championship thus returns to stop in the Republic of Titan after the 2014 European Championship.

The competition fields had been set up at Multieventi and in the adjacent gym with twenty three-dimensional animal silhouettes per field. To compete in 5 disciplines (recurve bow, bare bow, historical bow, longbow and compound freestyle) each divided into subcategories linked to the sex and age of the participants.

The qualifying matches took place on 9 and 10 December. Only the top six archers in each category participated in Sunday’s final, competing on six shapes to be shot with a shape arrow. (Continues after photo)

The drink Tania Fasciani in the historical arch category, also in this edition of the indoor championships, reached the final and won the silver medal.

The Umbrian archer had already won a gold medal at the EUROPEAN IBO CHAMPIONSHIP 3D in 2021 and also a gold medal at the National IBO Championship in October 2022 and a silver medal at the EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP 3D Indoor 2022. In this latest competition he was the protagonist also his son Damiano Piermarini who for the second consecutive year confirmed himself as a gold medalist in his category.
