The Kanpai Judo Club of Jaca Dominates the Aragon School Games Championship – Bringing Home a Harvest of Medals

The Kanpai Judo Club of Jaca has returned home with a harvest of medals in the first phase of the Aragon Championship of School Games. The event, held last weekend in Monzalbarba, witnessed the outstanding performance of the club’s judokas, who left great results in the regional competition.

Excellent level of Jaca judokas

On Saturday, it was the cadets’ turn, with the participation of Czech rockrose, Samuel Ventura e Ivan de Palma, representing the Kanpai Judo Club. The three athletes demonstrated an excellent level in their respective fights, standing out for their skill and determination on the tatami.

From the Kanpai Club it is explained that «Jara Checa shone in the -63 kilo category, securing the bronze medal with an impressive performance. Likewise, Samuel Ventura stood out in the -50 kilo category, taking home another bronze medal for the club. Although Iván de Palma debuted in the competition with great enthusiasm and effort, he unfortunately did not manage to reach the podium on this occasion.

On Sunday, the talent continued with Africa Arrocha in the -48 kilos children’s category. Arrocha demonstrated exceptional skill in each of his fights, winning with authority and securing his place in the final. Despite a close battle, Arrocha took home the silver medal, being crowned runner-up for Aragon in an impressive performance for the young judoka.
