INTERVIEW – Jean-Michel Larqué will commentate, for RMC, his first match since 2019 this Tuesday, with a view to Real Sociedad-PSG. The former player and consultant discusses the upcoming poster and shares his view on the evolution of football.

He left Paris Saint-Germain with a defeat, one evening in April 2019, against Rennes in the Coupe de France final (2-2, 6-5 on penalties). Almost five years after his retirement from the profession of commentator, Jean-Michel Larqué will take the microphone again, alongside Jean Resseguié, on the airwaves of RMC. A unique opportunity for the round of 16 second leg of the Champions League between Real Sociedad and PSG, a stone’s throw from its stronghold in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. The former French international (76 years old), who played in Paris and Saint-Étienne during his career, provides a critical look at the PSG season and the Kylian Mbappé case, but also at the evolution of football, which he says he believes “a little bit disappointed”.
