Ahsan/Hendra got up after the interval. Point after point was achieved until the score became 11-13.
Ahsan/Hendra were even able to make the score equal at 14-14 thanks to their pressing game and the mistakes that Rankireddy/Shetty often made.
However, the momentum did not work. Hendra’s shuttlecock return which did not cross the net allowed Rankireddy/Shetty to lead 19-16.
Rankireddy/Shetty’s lead could not be caught by Ahsan/Hendra, who lost 18-21 in the first game.
Ahsan/Hendra were 4-9 behind Rankireddy/Shetty. This is after the first seeded pair were able to win five points in a row.
Rankireddy/Shetty still continue to appear dominant. The aggressive play they played made it difficult for Ahsan/Hendra until they finally gave up 14-21 in the second game.
