Bogor – Persikabo 1973 officially appointed a new coach to handle the remaining six matches in Liga 1 2023/24. Laskar Padjadjaran will again be handled by Djadjang Nurdjaman.
The man who is familiarly called Djanur replaces Aji Santoso who was fired. Previously, Djanur managed Persikabo from 2022 to 2023.
“Welcome back coach! Welcome back to Bumi Tegar Beriman Coach @djanur_16. Let’s bounce back in the remaining 6 matches this season,” said Instagram @officialpersikabo.
“Coach Djanur will coach Laskar Padjajaran to complete the remaining matches this season,” he continued.
What’s interesting, Djanur immediately led Persikabo to face the former Persib Bandung. Persikabo will meet Persib in the continuation of League 1 at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Friday 15 March 2024.
Djanur has sweet memories with Persib. He once won when he was a player and coach in Maung Bandung.
Persikabo is currently slumped at the bottom of the League 1 standings. They have only collected 17 points from 28 matches.
