Dracufest 2024: A Music and Sports Extravaganza at Waikiki Beach

Dracufest 2024 took over Waikiki Beach, in Puerto Cabello, Carabobo state during the Easter holiday. Thousands of people attended the beach festival, where concerts and multiple recreational and sports activities were available to the public for free.

More than 150 thousand people were present at the concert by Colombian artist Silvestre Dangond, who on a stage decorated with a giant bat and various special effects, performed songs such as “La gringa”, “Niégame tres vezes”, “Materialista” and “Vivir Bailando”. ” with the accompaniment of an excited audience.

“Two years without feeling each other, without touching each other, without seeing each other, but I feel like a son of this country because of the love and affection it has had for me for many years,” Dangond expressed on stage.

Another surprise for the audience was the participation of Governor Rafael Lacava, who in front of the crowd transformed into DJ Dracula, making the attendees dance.

The sports display included competitions in various disciplines such as volleyball, beach soccer, air badminton, paddle tennis, surfing, beach handball, among others.

For the little ones, the Waikikids Asteroid Trip was available, in the children’s area, as well as the Extreme Park and various attractions designed for fun for the whole family.
