PBSI commented on the results of the 2024 Thomas Cup and Uber Cup draws. They believe that Indonesia still has a chance of qualifying for the group even though it is in the hell group.
The draw for the Thomas Cup and Uber Cup took place on Friday (22/3/2024). The men’s team is in Group C with India, Thailand and England. Meanwhile, the Indonesian Uber team will compete with Japan, Hong Kong and Uganda in Group C.
“Looking at the results of the draw, the results are indeed like that. We cannot avoid it. Because the current power map, both at Thomas and Uber, is all evenly distributed. We cannot choose an easy opponent now,” said PBSI Head of Binpres Ricky Soebagdja in a written statement.
