Once all the clubs that are going to participate have been confirmed, and the zones and fixtures have been defined by draw, everything is on track for the Apertura 2024 tournament organized by the Obereña Regional Soccer League to begin next Sunday, March 24.
Atlético Oberá, AEMO, Racing de Villa Svea and Ex Alumnos 185, will be the Obereño clubs that will be present in the First Division, while Olimpia/San Antonio will only compete in the Fourth Division. There will also be the representatives of Leandro N. Alem, Atlético Alem and Atlético Iguazú; the two Campo Viera clubs, Atlético Campo Viera and Atlético Independiente; For Alto Uruguay there will be River de Santa Rita and San Martín de 25 de Mayo; There will also be River de Villa Bonita while in the Central Zone there will only be Atlético Aristóbulo del Valle, after learning that Atlético Campo Grande announced that it will not participate.
The tournament will be with two zones. Zone A will have five teams and zone B six teams. The first four will qualify for the Quarterfinals, where the 1st in a zone will face each other. the 4th of the other, and the 2nd of one vs. the 3rd from the other, just one game away. The winners will play the Semifinals in a match and rematch, and in turn, the final will have the same format.
The youth
In the Fourth Division the same games will be played, always accompanying the highest category. However, AEMO and Atl. Independiente does not present a team in the youth team, so the teams that must face them will be free on each date.
