By Pierre-Andréa Fraile | Sports journalist

Never sent to the ground in his career as an MMA fighter, Francis Ngannou bit the dust in his second boxing fight. KO’d by Anthony Joshua, the Predator returned to this new sensation for him with honesty.

Will this defeat mark the end of his journey in the world of boxing? In any case, IT appears to be a serious setback. Bluffing against Tyson Fury last October, Francis Ngannou delivered a much less sparkling performance this Friday, against Anthony Joshua. He did not last more than two rounds in this fight which he ended up on the ground after. a huge KO delivered by his English opponent.

Power outage at Francis Ngannou

While waiting to know if he will climb into the ring again in the future, it is clear that Ngannou discovered the taste of defeat before the judges’ decision. No one had succeeded in knocking him out so far in his career, not even Fury. Shortly after the Gypsy King sent him a viral messagehe in turn quoted it at a press conference when analyzing his performance:

It was pretty special because it cut me short. It did what Tyson Fury failed to do. It wasn’t my day, and Joshua was simply better than me today. It’s a shame but it’s the game, we all know that. It’s like that.

Francis even spoke more about the feeling of this KO state that he had never experienced… or at least about his lack of feeling:

Winner of Cédric Doumbé, Baki bluntly: “It’s not…

It was really clean. In fact, I didn’t even feel the blow. I guess that’s what happens when you get knocked out! I don’t feel any pain. That’s how I know I was knocked out.

So even a colossus like the Cameroonian can see the light go out. A revelation which, however, left many Internet users speechless:

The guy was dead he didn’t feel anything anymore ????????????

You saw the light bro

Contrary to what some might believe, Anthony Joshua’s devastating right did not cause great pain in Francis Ngannou. In any case, this should remain a good lesson for the Predator in the future.
