The V Cup qualifying round for the women’s V League Volleyball Division 1 (V1) began on the 9th at the Komakihara General Gymnasium in Yamagata Prefecture. Hisamitsu Springs (Tosu City) in qualifying group B won their first match against Aranmare (Yamagata) 3-2 and got off to a winning start.
Hisamitsu made a major change in members from the league match, where they finished 6th in the year. In the first set, they found a rhythm with Miyu Nakagawa’s spikes and ace and took the lead 25-17. After losing the second and third sets, the fourth set was a back-and-forth battle, but thanks to Saki Nakajima’s spikes, she gradually extended her lead to 25-19. In the fifth and final set, Nakajima and Nakagawa continued to score, and the match ended at 15-11.
In the league match, Chitaporn Kamran Mark, who had limited playing opportunities, showed his presence by making 5 blocks, and libero Aoi Takahashi, who joined from Higashi Kyushu Ryukoku High School (Oita), had a serve-receive success rate of 54 in his first official match appearance.・It showed a sense of stability at 3%.
