Comments from the protagonists

Valerio ACCOGLI: First race of the year, good sensations that give me the right energy to start in the best possible way, unfortunately a small mistake cost me the gold medal. But let’s aim higher! I always thank the Carabinieri sports center, my club Banzai and my family.

Federico BOSIS: I’m nervous about the final but I’m quite satisfied with this day. I just changed category and I came here because I need to do matches to test myself: the race was demanding but I managed to get to the end even against unfamiliar opponents. I keep my head on my shoulders and work towards the next appointments. I thank my company and my technicians.

Sara CORBO: I’m happy to have put myself out there even if I was a little disappointed with the final, I’ll try to draw inspiration from it to improve and grow. I would like to thank the Carabinieri sports center for the support it gives me on a daily basis, now I will start working again towards the promoted objectives to achieve better results.

Serena ONDEI: I’m quite happy with this result, the match certainly could have gone better, but we always aim to improve, both judoistically and mentally. Now I’m thinking about my next goal, the European cup in Anadia (Por). I thank all the Carabinieri Sports Center who support me on a daily basis.
