Jets Acquire Pass Rusher Haason Reddick from Eagles in Trade Deal for Bryce Huff’s Replacement

Robert Saleh will therefore have chosen Bryce Huff’s replacement… from the team he left for. The Jets have indeed traded a third round of conditional 2026 draft to recover Haason Reddick, pass rusher of the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Adam Shefter (ESPN).

Conditional, yes, because the trade could be even more beneficial for the Eagles. If Haason Reddick plays more than 67.5% of the defensive plays next season, or if he compiles 10 or more sacks, then Philadelphia would not get back the third but the second rounder from the Jets in 2026.

An achievable performance for Reddick, who remains in 4 consecutive seasons with 11 sacks or more (50.5 sacks cumulative since 2020).

After the signings this offseason of Mike Williams, Tyler Smith and Javon Kinlaw, New York continues its strategy of going all-in in order to win a title with Aaron Rodgers.

Not disoriented by his new colors, Haason Reddick should be offered a new contract.
