Judo and Speed Skating Athletes Shine at 58th Quebec Games Final

Judo and speed skating athletes once again performed very well at the 58th Quebec Games Final in Sherbrooke yesterday.

In speed skating, William Samson and Olianne Dufour both won a second gold medal, this time in the 1500m. For her part, Maya Govindan-Bernatchez climbed onto the second step of the podium for a second time as well, this time in the 1500m.

In judo, Mauricie won two bronze medals thanks to the performances of Stéphanois Justin Miron (-73 kg) and Abby Lavoie (+63 kg). Louis-Gabriel Bégin-Hannecart won gold in the -66 kg category.
