LFF Members to Vote for President and Board Members in April 26 Election

The presidential election will be held at the LFF congress on April 26, with 99 LFF members running for president.

In the elections, LFF members will vote for the LFF president, two LFF vice president positions and six LFF board member positions, and according to the LFF statutes, at least one position is reserved for a female candidate.

85 members expressed their support for Lashenko, and 12 for Krivunets.

Edgars Dupats (11 endorsements), Olaf Pulks (26 endorsements) and Sergejs Kovaliov (51 endorsements) are running for the position of vice president. Anastasija Kučinska (14 endorsements), Andis Rozītis (12 endorsements), Eduards Borisevičs (11 endorsements), Emīls Latkovskis (14 endorsements), Guntars Indriksons (10 endorsements), Jānis Engelis (12 endorsements) and Nauris Mackevičs are applying for the positions of board members. (12 supports).

Also, LFF members will have the opportunity to vote for members of LFF’s independent legal bodies. The Disciplinary Committee, the Player Status and Transfer Committee, the Ethics Committee and the Appeals Committee shall consist of a Chairman, a Vice-Chairman and three members to be elected.
