Max Verstappen Secures Pole Position at 2024 Saudi Arabian GP: Charles Leclerc in Second Place

Max Verstappen managed to take the first pole in Formula 1 GP Arab Saudi 2024. The Red Bull Racing driver was followed by Charles Leclerc from Ferrari.

The F1 Saudi Arabian GP qualification took place at the Jeddah Circuit, Saturday (9/3/2024) early morning WIB. Verstappen recorded his best time of 1 minute 27.472 seconds.

The racer from the Netherlands also won his first pole at the Bahrain GP. During the race, Verstappen was able to become the champion.

Charles Leclerc had to settle for starting the race at the Saudi Arabian GP from second position because he was 0.319 seconds slower. This made him start the race again behind Verstappen, like at the Bahrain GP.

In third place is Sergio Perez. Verstappen’s colleague only recorded a time of 1 minute 27.807 seconds.

Kick Sauber driver Zhou Guanyu had an accident. This made him unable to complete the qualifying session.
